Builín Blasta Returns & Refund Policy

Our Commitment

At Builín Blasta, we take pride in the quality of our handmade condiments, dressings, chutneys, and hampers. Every product is made with care in Galway using high-quality Irish ingredients. If something isn’t right with your order, we’ll do our best to make it right.

Returns

Under EU consumer law, customers have the right to cancel and return most online purchases within 14 days of receiving their order. However, this right does not apply to perishable goods, such as food products, that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

Because all of our products are food items, we cannot accept returns unless:

  • The item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, or

  • The product was not as described at the time of purchase.

If this happens, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the item, so we can arrange a replacement or refund.

Refunds

Once we have reviewed your claim, we will confirm by email whether a refund or replacement will be issued.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.

Please note:

  • Refunds are issued only for products that are faulty, damaged, or incorrect on arrival.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable except in cases where the order was incorrect or damaged.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled due to the perishable nature of our products.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your parcel arrives damaged or if an incorrect item was sent, please email info@builinblasta.ie  within 7 days, including your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if possible. We’ll arrange a prompt replacement or refund.

Summary (Legal Basis)

This policy complies with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights and the Irish European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No. 484/2013), which exclude perishable goods from the standard 14-day return right.
